Description

We are a fast-growing, AI-powered video security company that helps organizations transform video data into actionable insights for security, safety, and operational efficiency. Backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, the company is rapidly expanding its presence in the video security industry.

We are looking for a technically strong Assistant Controller to help scale its global finance organization during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands-on accounting role responsible for financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, monthly close, and finance process improvements across the U.S. and Israeli entities.

The ideal candidate has strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, experience in a Big-4 accounting firm (Hi-Tech department), and enjoys building scalable finance processes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Own financial aspects of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation between Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accounting accuracy.

Revenue & Operational Finance

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate customer order processing.
  • Support revenue recognition activities.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and inventory planning.
  • Monitor gross margin reporting and financial performance.

Compliance & Audit

  • Support annual external audits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Assist with U.S. and Israeli tax compliance, including: sales tax, corporate tax filings

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Perform variance analysis.
  • Prepare management reports.

Process Improvement

  • Help automate finance processes using ERP, BI, and AI tools.
  • Improve internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Contribute to building scalable finance infrastructure.


Requirements

Must-Have Requirements:

  • CPA qualification.
  • Experience in a Big-4 accounting firm (Hi-Tech department) after internship.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience with consolidated financial reporting.
  • Systems
  • Experience using NetSuite ERP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • High level of English (written and spoken)..

Nice-to-Have:

  • Salesforce (or another CRM system).
  • SaaS industry experience.
  • Inventory accounting experience.
  • Experience coordinating external audits.
  • Knowledge of U.S. sales tax and corporate tax compliance.
  • Experience with BI, automation, or AI finance tools.
