Job Description
Minimum of 7+ years of experience working with
PostgreSQL And Work Experience on Ruby On Rails…
Familiarity with PostgreSQL support for JSON & Good Grasp
of ETL concepts
In-depth understanding of data management (e.g.
permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
Good Understanding of Postgres internal structures and
Database Load testing
Server configuration tuning, benchmarking &
monitoring,Partitioning, connection pooling
Should be Experience in PostgreSQL Installations,
Upgradation, Migration. Managing cluster and more than 10
servers.
Administration tools & tasks (upgrade, replication, HA & DR,
failover, archiving)
Writing Queries using psql, performance tuning and
optimization and Profiling of database
Should be proactive and have the intellect to explore and
come up with solution to complex technical issues
Strong written and verbal communication along with proven
fluency of English
