Job description

Position: Brand Development & Design Specialist

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Location: Full-Time, Remote (South Africa)

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

Position Overview

Responsible for developing and growing the company's brand presence across digital platforms within the freight brokerage industry. This role combines branding, graphic design, content creation, social media management, and community engagement to build awareness, attract customers, and strengthen the company's online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Research the freight brokerage and logistics industry to create relevant, engaging content.
  • Develop creative branding and visual assets aligned with the company's identity.
  • Design graphics and marketing materials using Canva, Photoshop, and AI tools.
  • Create and manage content for LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Plan and publish engaging posts targeted to the appropriate U.S. regions and markets.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond promptly to comments and messages.
  • Identify trends and opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute brand awareness campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Track engagement and recommend improvements to content strategy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in brand development, graphic design, or social media marketing.
  • Experience creating content for B2B industries (logistics, transportation, or related industries is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, LinkedIn, and AI-powered content creation tools.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and audience engagement.
  • Understanding of U.S. geography and regional markets to create targeted content.
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
