Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Consultant to design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA solutions to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP HANA modeling, database administration, and performance tuning, as well as experience in SAP BW on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and data integration tools.


SAP HANA Development & Implementation

  • Design and develop SAP HANA data models using Calculation Views, Analytical Views, and Attribute Views.
  • Implement and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and CDS views in SAP HANA.
  • Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SLT, BODS, or SDI.
  • Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient HANA solutions.

Database Administration & Performance Tuning

  • Monitor and maintain SAP HANA database performance, optimizing query execution.
  • Implement indexing, partitioning, and compression strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Perform database backups, restores, and system health checks.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for SAP HANA databases.

Integration & Support

  • Integrate SAP HANA with SAP BW, S/4HANA, and third-party reporting tools.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for SAP HANA applications and databases.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to maintain system integrity.
  • Document technical configurations, development processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, including modeling, administration, and SQL scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP BW on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and related technologies.
  • Experience with data provisioning tools like SLT, BODS, and SDI.
  • Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and data security.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori, ABAP on HANA, and SAP Cloud technologies (optional).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


Preferred Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist SAP HANA Modeling
  • SAP S/4HANA Certification (optional)
