Job description

1. Employee Experience

  • Ensure employees receive timely, accurate HR support throughout their lifecycle

  • Address workplace concerns early to prevent escalation

  • Maintain clear, consistent HR communication across the organization

2. Core HR Operations

  • Own employee records, documentation, and data integrity in HR systems

  • Manage leave administration, policy application, and employee status changes

  • Partner with payroll teams to ensure accurate inputs and deadlines

3. Manager Support

  • Advise managers on performance issues, policy interpretation, and employee matters

  • Support corrective actions and documentation with a fair, compliant approach

  • Help leaders apply HR practices consistently across teams

4. Compliance & Risk Control

  • Apply U.S. federal and state employment laws in daily HR decisions

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and policy adherence

  • Flag potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions

5. Talent & Workforce Support

  • Support hiring processes and smooth onboarding transitions

  • Contribute to retention, engagement, and workforce planning initiatives

  • Assist with performance review cycles and development programs

  • Employees trust HR and receive timely, accurate support

  • Managers rely on HR for clear, compliant guidance

  • HR records are clean, current, and audit-ready

  • Issues are resolved proactively, not reactively

Required Background

  • 3+ years in an HR Generalist or broad HR role

  • Hands-on experience supporting U.S.-based employees

  • Working knowledge of employment laws, policies, and HR operations

  • Experience operating independently in a remote setup

Key Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Sound judgment and discretion

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Comfort handling sensitive and complex situations
