Job description

Position: Lead Generation/Marketing Content Specialist

Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: 9:00AM - 1:00PM UK Timezone


Overview:
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, marketing, and creativity especially within the dynamic and fun space of the toy and game industry. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, has excellent writing skills, and brings a strong background in lead prospecting, email outreach, marketing content creation, and appointment setting. Knowledge of the toy/game industry and a trendy, out-of-the-box mindset are highly valued.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential distributors and partners in the toy/game industry through LinkedIn, industry directories, and other platforms.

  • Conduct email outreach to initiate contact and deliver compelling sales pitches aligned with the company’s messaging.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings, particularly around tradeshow events, using email and other communication tools.

  • Prepare and send sales decks, meeting notes, and follow-ups post-tradeshow.

  • Create and edit PowerPoint presentations tailored to client and distributor needs.

  • Assist in developing basic marketing content for websites, such as product descriptions and promotional messaging.

  • Design simple visual assets (e.g., banners, posters) using Illustrator, Photoshop or similar tools to support online and offline marketing campaigns.

  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including setup, testing, sending, and monitoring KPIs such as open and unsubscribe rates.

  • Collaborate in localizing promotional content based on regional trends and preferences.

  • Ensure all campaigns meet quality standards through thorough QA checks (e.g., links, design, legal compliance).

  • Perform lead nurturing and engagement by crafting effective messaging that drives the conversation to conversion.

  • Carry out other ad hoc marketing and administrative tasks as assigned.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Generation Specialist or similar role.

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and marketing automation platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of lead prospecting techniques and understanding of buyer personas.

  • Experience working with MS365 applications and Dropbox.

  • Basic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools are a strong plus.

  • Previous exposure to the toy/game industry or an understanding of its trends and distribution channels is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Exceptional writing abilities, particularly for email and marketing content.

  • Must be proficient in creating, editing, and formatting PowerPoint presentations.

  • Highly organized, self-disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

  • A quick learner who can grasp new tools and processes swiftly.

  • A trendy and creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas and β€œout-of-the-box” solutions to the team.

  • Willing to work during UK holidays occasionally, depending on project needs or peak season requirements.
