Industrial Automation

Our Group, based in Viano, in the province of Reggio Emilia (Italy), is specialized in the development of integrated and automated intralogistics solutions for manufacturers of high-volume consumer products and distribution centers, mainly in the food, beverage, and tissue sectors. Thanks to innovative technologies, in 1992 we anticipated the concept of Industry 4.0: the Smart Factory, sustainable, interconnected and safe. Our tailor-made solutions for production planning, control and for storage and shipping activities guarantee a significant increase in plant efficiency while ensuring the total traceability of handled products. “With E80 Group we aim to leverage our heritage and identity to move towards a common destination: a shared future that is permeated by the same values that have always distinguished us as a team - to innovate, dare, solve, value and connect," President Enrico Grassi and Vice-president Vittorio Cavirani explain. The main systems produced are: palletizing robots, a wide range of laser-guided vehicles, high-speed robotic stretch wrappers, pallet control systems, robotic labellers, layer picking and repacking solutions and automated high-density warehouses. The entire logistics flow is centrally managed by the SM.I.LE80 software platform (Smart Integrated Logistics) that ensures the efficient integration of systems, optimizing all operations from raw material reception to warehousing and shipping. As of today, we have completed nearly 350 integrated factories in different parts of the world and installed over 2500 robotic systems, 6500 automatic laser-guided vehicles, and, since 2016, 40 automated high-density warehouses. In addition to our headquarters, we have set up branches in Australia, Brazil, Chile, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, France, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Poland, Russia, the USA, and Thailand. E80 protects the customer’s investment over time thanks to its consulting and 24/7 remote and on-site assistance services.
