Outback Spirit Tours is seeking passionate, professional couples or dynamic duos to join our team for the 2026 touring season, commencing soon.

As leaders in luxury small-group adventure travel, we deliver unforgettable journeys through some of Australia’s most breathtaking and remote regions. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do - and we’re looking for experienced Tour Guides and Driver Guides who bring energy, professionalism, exceptional storytelling ability, and a genuine love for the outback.

With the majority of our touring season running from March to October 2026, this is an opportunity to live and work on the road for extended periods, with accommodation and meals provided for the entire season. Explore Australia’s diverse landscapes, connect with incredible communities, and create lifelong memories for your guests, together.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Medium Rigid Licence or higher (essential for drivers, desirable for guides)
  • Heavy Vehicle and off road driving experience
  • Commercial Passenger Endorsement (essential for drivers, desirable for guides)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (valid for 12 months)
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Required Guiding Accreditations for specific locations (E.g. Uluru Kata Tjuta, Kakadu etc)
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and high presentation standards
  • Problem-solving abilities that ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Previous on road tour experience would be highly regarded

WHERE YOU'LL OPERATE:

We are seeking couples or duos with strong knowledge of Australia’s key remote touring regions, including:

Kimberley & Top End – Confident operating across the remote landscapes within the Kimberley and Northern Territory.

Pilbara & West Coast – Experience navigating Western Australia’s rugged northwest and extended remote touring corridors.

Corner Country – Touring from Alice Springs to Adelaide, exploring the remote outback regions of NSW, SA, QLD and the NT.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in remote environments, adapting to seasonal conditions, and delivering premium small-group experiences in some of Australia’s most extraordinary landscapes.
