Veta Virtual is hiring a Cloud & SaaS Operations Manager for one of our high-growth clients in the Fintech and Cryptocurrency industry. This is a senior, strategic role built for someone who owns cloud-based workplace technology at scale — leading SaaS administration, identity security, workplace automation, and team mentorship inside a fast-moving global fintech organization. 🔑 Your Role:

As a Cloud & SaaS Operations Manager, you will lead the administration, optimization, and security of a global fintech company's cloud-based workplace technology stack — owning SaaS platforms, identity and access management, security compliance, and workplace automation at an organizational level. You will partner with IT, Security, Compliance, and HR teams to ensure every system is secure, scalable, and delivering maximum value to the business. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Leading the administration, optimization, and security of all SaaS applications — including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other workplace collaboration tools — ensuring platforms are secure, scalable, and fully aligned with business needs.
  • Managing and enforcing identity and access management (IAM) policies — overseeing SSO solutions, Microsoft Entra, MFA, conditional access policies, and least privilege access to ensure secure and appropriate access to all cloud resources.
  • Enforcing Zero Trust principles across SaaS environments — implementing and maintaining data protection policies, backup strategies, data retention, and disaster recovery plans for all workplace cloud services.
  • Developing and implementing workflow automation solutions — using Power Automate, Zapier, PowerShell, Python, or API integrations to eliminate manual effort, improve productivity, and drive operational consistency at scale.
  • Identifying and deploying self-service IT solutions that enhance the employee experience while reducing IT support overhead — evaluating and recommending new SaaS tools and cloud-based solutions proactively.
  • Collaborating with Security and Compliance teams to ensure SaaS environments meet all security, compliance, and regulatory requirements — including audit preparation and ongoing policy enforcement.
  • Partnering with HR and People Operations to lead seamless employee onboarding and offboarding processes — ensuring every joiner is set up correctly and every leaver is fully deprovisioned without gaps.
  • Driving technology adoption programs across the organization — ensuring employees get maximum value from workplace tools through clear communication, training, and change management.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to IT support teams on cloud and SaaS best practices — elevating the team's capabilities and building a culture of technical excellence.
  • Monitoring and maintaining cloud-based workplace infrastructure — proactively identifying risks, managing outages, and escalating issues with urgency and precision.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-based workplace technology management, SaaS administration, or IT infrastructure — with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-platform environments at scale.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 — including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint — and strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management — SSO, MFA, IAM policies, and security best practices — with proven experience managing Microsoft Entra in a production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with IT automation and workflow tools — Power Automate, Zapier, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent — with the ability to design and implement enterprise-wide automation programs.
  • Proven ability to enforce Zero Trust security models — including conditional access policies, least privilege access, and data protection frameworks across cloud environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Security, Compliance, IT, and HR teams — translating technical solutions into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills — you elevate the team around you and build technical capability rather than just solving problems yourself.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud-based IT environments — you identify root causes quickly and implement durable fixes.
  • Strong documentation discipline and communication skills — you leave every system better documented than you found it.
  • Bonus: experience with Zero Trust security architecture and AI-driven workplace automation.
  • Bonus: Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator, AWS Fundamentals, or Azure certifications.
  • Bonus: previous exposure to regulated industries such as fintech or cryptocurrency.
  • To be considered for this role, you must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
