Their clients already have live websites, and the focus is on maintaining, improving, and fixing those sites to ensure optimal performance, speed, and search visibility.

We're looking for a practical, detail-oriented developer who enjoys solving real-world website issues, executing updates efficiently, and keeping multiple sites running smoothly across different CMS platforms.

πŸ”‘ Your Role:

As a WordPress Support Developer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a portfolio of live client websites. This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to manage multiple small tasks across different websites daily. You will:

  • Handle ongoing website support tasks including bug fixes, broken links, broken elements, styling inconsistencies, and layout adjustments.
  • Work primarily on WordPress websites, while also supporting other CMS platforms such as Duda, Squarespace, and Divi.
  • Update and maintain existing pages, blog posts, and landing pages across client sites, keeping content accurate and on-brand.
  • Set up and manage staging environments for safe updates and testing.
  • Ensure daily backups are properly configured and functioning within hosting environments.
  • Update and maintain themes, plugins, and CMS components.
  • Implement updates to footers, contact forms, favicons, and page elements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site speed, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Implement and validate schema markup and technical SEO improvements.
  • Identify and fix technical SEO issues that impact search visibility.
  • Monitor and maintain overall website health and stability.
  • Support integrations and ensure functionality across forms, plugins, CRMs, and other external tools.
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding fixes, updates, and timelines.
  • Document recurring issues and solutions to improve efficiency over time.
  • Take on other website support responsibilities as they come up.

βœ… What You’ll Need:

  • 2–4+ years of experience working with WordPress and website maintenance/support.
  • Experience working across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress required; Duda, Squarespace, Divi is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of website troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO concepts (site speed, schema, indexing, etc.).
  • Experience setting up staging environments and managing backups.
  • Comfortable working with hosting environments and basic server-side checks.
  • Experience handling task-based or ticket-based workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Availability to work within or overlap with U.S. time zones.
  • This role is open only to candidates based in LATAM & Europe.

πŸ’Ό What We Offer:

  • πŸ’Έ Competitive monthly compensation in USD.
  • πŸ•’ Full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday), with 10 days of PTO per year.
  • 🌍 Fully remote opportunity β€” work from anywhere in Latin America.
  • 🀝 Long-term placement with a stable, growth-focused digital marketing agency.
