Pega Developer

Location: Mexico (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Pega Developer to design, develop, and implement business process management (BPM) and customer engagement solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications that support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Pega Platform.

  • Configure business processes, workflows, user interfaces, and integrations.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Develop and consume REST/SOAP web services and APIs.

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and development standards.

  • Support deployment activities and production issue resolution.

  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing applications on the Pega Platform.

  • Experience with Pega PRPC/Pega Infinity.

  • Strong understanding of BPM, case management, and workflow automation.

  • Experience creating flows, case types, data pages, integrations, and decision rules.

  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and software development principles.

  • Experience integrating Pega with external systems and APIs.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA).

  • Experience with Pega Customer Service or Customer Decision Hub.

  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, JavaScript, or web technologies.

  • Experience working with cloud environments and DevOps practices.

  • Financial services, insurance, healthcare, or enterprise application experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
