The Talent Acquisition Partner - Closing & Conversion leverages market intelligence, production data, and industry relationships to influence top-producing Loan Officers and teams in a highly competitive landscape.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to align on candidate pipelines, priorities, and market strategy.

  • Focus on attracting and securing experienced, high-producing Mortgage Loan Officers and teams.

  • Own the final stages of the recruiting lifecycle, driving candidate conversion from offer through acceptance and onboarding.

  • Lead advanced-stage candidate engagement, including presenting opportunities, addressing questions, and guiding final decision-making.

  • Lead high-impact candidate closing conversations, effectively positioning CrossCountry Mortgage’s value proposition, compensation structure, and growth opportunities.

  • Influence and convert qualified candidates into hires through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.

  • Partner with leadership to craft and present competitive, customized offers aligned with candidate motivations and business objectives.

  • Facilitate transparent and professional discussions regarding compensation, transition expectations, and onboarding.

  • Develop and execute tailored closing strategies for high-value candidates, leveraging market intelligence, production data, and competitor insights.

  • Drive offer acceptance rates by proactively identifying risks and addressing candidate concerns throughout the decision-making process.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for late-stage candidates, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience through offer acceptance and onboarding transition.

  • Build and maintain relationships with top talent to understand career objectives, production drivers, and long-term goals.

  • Leverage production data, market insights, and industry tools to identify trends and inform recruiting strategies.

  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, including talent movement and organizational positioning within the mortgage industry.

  • Track and analyze closing metrics, including offer acceptance rates and declines, to continuously improve conversion strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in mortgage banking, retail lending, or financial services, preferably within high-production or large-scale mortgage organizations.

  • Experience as a Recruiting Manager at a high-performing organization supporting $2B+ in production or within a top-tier mortgage competitor ($5B+ annual volume).

  • Advanced understanding of mortgage production metrics, including loan volume, pipelines, and performance indicators.

  • Skilled at leveraging data, market intelligence, and industry insights to inform strategy and influence outcomes.
