The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Clinician Liaison to support the day-to-day activities of managing a specific clinical service line and assigned to a group of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), together known as ‘clinicians.’The Clinician Liaison is key to the success of the Neurology service line’s operational performance and clinical culture, ensuring proactively that clinicians have what they need to succeed and thrive in their clinical work. 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the key agent, for neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with administration: 
    • Build and sustain trust-based relationships with clinicians, checking in frequently, proactively solving problems and mustering resources, advocating for support 
    • Respond timely to clinician needs for administrative support (e.g., Payroll, HR, Legal, Accounting, IT, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Support)
    • Expedite administration for hiring, onboarding, employment status changes, off-boarding 
    • Anticipate, push, communicate, and help clinicians fully prepare for their first shifts
    • Arrange and support clinician training, including with hospital EMR systems          
    • Liaise between clinicians, company administration, and clients as needed  
    • Support clinicians in completion of credentialing, licensing, privileging, EMR access and training 
    • Maintain critical information for clinicians’ clinical effectiveness on-shift: privileging profiles, EMR and EEG system access information, client-specific workflows 
    • Notify clinicians timely about upcoming changes – new sites, new workflows, etc
    • Support clinicians with resolution of technical issues while on-shift 
  • Facilitate the management of neurologists and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) 
    • Communicate company and service line policies 
    • Ensure timely completion of signed orders, consult notes, and other clinical documentation  
    • Track progress of CLP and first-shift readiness, partner productively with CL&P to ensure appropriate prioritization, communicate to Scheduling 
    • Anticipate expiration of CLP, EMR access, DEA/CDS, and other necessary elements for clinical work, proactively engage clinicians and CLP to avoid downtime 
    • Maintain up-to-date information on clinicians’ profiles: work status, contract type, Pod assignment, demographics, etc.  
    • Maintain comprehensiveness and accuracy of administrative datasets 
  • Facilitate the administration of Pods or other clinical teams 
    1. Organize Pod meetings, keep minutes, track progress of action items, prepare materials 
    2. Support Pod Directors in planning go-lives of new sites and new services 
    3. Provide performance metrics to Pod Directors, co-develop plans for individual clinicians, ensure execution of management tasks  
    4. Create and provide client calendars as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned
