Job Summary

Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. As an Environmental Services Aide, you'll play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention throughout the hospital, ensuring every space is safe and ready for patient care.

Schedule: Full-Time | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Every Other Weekend

Essential Functions
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment by following established cleaning and infection prevention standards.
Sweep, mop, strip, wax, buff, and polish hard floors using commercial floor care equipment.
Vacuum and shampoo carpets throughout assigned areas.
Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, equipment, walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, and other surfaces.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste and recycling receptacles.
Clean and disinfect patient and public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, drinking fountains, and other fixtures; replenish supplies as needed.
Remove litter and debris from hospital grounds and building entrances.
Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and departmental activities.
Safely operate high- and low-speed floor care machines.
Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to help keep the facility operating efficiently.
Follow all hospital safety, infection prevention, and environmental services procedures.

Qualifications
