Job description

For a quarter of a century, the Jellycat family have brought joy, wonder and playful fun to people of all ages, in every part of the world. Utterly original and in a class of their own, they are currently among the most loved and collected toys of their kind. How has this gentle tribe endeared themselves to so many? Perhaps it is their whimsical expressions. Or the deliciously soft fabrics. Or the beautiful way in which they sit in your hand. Whatever it is, there is something magical and unmistakeable about each one of them.

We’re looking for a dynamic, well-connected PR Manager based near Paris to lead Jellycat’s communications in France and, as secondary markets, Belgium and Luxembourg. You’ll be an integral part of the global PR team, executing key projects and ensuring the flawless delivery of PR activities in this important market. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for building brand awareness, elevating Jellycat’s positioning, and developing authentic relationships with media, influencers, and retail partners. From issuing press materials and managing event logistics to nurturing influencer relations and supporting high-profile launches, you’ll ensure every touchpoint reflects Jellycat’s playful yet luxury identity. You’ll collaborate closely with senior team members on strategy while driving impactful day-to-day execution.

You'll be;

  • Delivering the PR strategy for France, aligned with global brand objectives.

  • Owning and nurturing strong relationships with French editors, journalists, influencers, and tastemakers across lifestyle, fashion, design, and luxury.

  • Building and maintaining contacts in Belgium and Luxembourg, ensuring Jellycat is represented with consistency and impact.

  • Proactively securing impactful press coverage in tier-one media titles and drive relevant influencer partnerships.

  • Managing press office operations: pitching stories, handling product requests, coordinating gifting mailers, and monitoring press coverage.

  • Translating and distributing seasonal press materials for Jellycat launches, ensuring key messaging aligns with brand standards.

  • Planning and executing local events and brand activations in line with Jellycat’s playful yet elevated identity.

  • Partnering with key retailers on launches and activations across the country, ensuring Jellycat is consistently presented in a premium way.

  • Working closely with the global PR team on cross-market launches and events to ensure consistent messaging.

  • Leading monthly reporting on PR activities in France, analysing coverage and providing insights to guide future strategies.

You'll have;

  • Minimum 6 years of PR experience, ideally within a luxury brand or fast-paced PR agency environment.

  • Must be fluent in French and English (written and spoken).

  • Strong existing network of French media and influencer contacts.

  • Proven experience organising high-profile events, from logistics to creative execution.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering everything to the highest standard.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneaously.

  • A proactive, creative, and collaborative attitude.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Knowledge of the luxury lifestyle space and an understanding of current PR and influencer trends.

  • Fluency in additional European languages is a plus.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable picking up new systems.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

  • A genuine interest in luxury, lifestyle, and creative brand storytelling.
