Job Summary
The Disbursement Supervisor, working within Settlement Administration, is responsible for supporting the Disbursement Manager and guaranteeing the goals and objectives of the Disbursement's team are executed. This includes overseeing the establishment, management, distribution, operations, and closure of all Settlement Fund accounts. This individual is also responsible for supervising the team, developing the team and their skills, ensuring goals are met, identifying, and monitoring payment procedures, and ensuring compliance internally and externally.

• Develop and review performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement
• Oversee day-to-day operational tasks to ensure deliverables are met timely and accurately
• Implement new policies to monitor and prevent internal and external fraud
• Anticipate and proactively address issues and delays
• Manage banking relationships and ensure proper access and services are established
• Manage team members and ensure tasks are being processed in a timely manner
• Resolve technical and subject matter issues
• Review training needs and conduct team and individual training sessions to ensure team is adequately prepared to perform tasks

• Monitor employee productivity and optimize and/or implement procedures to reduce costs
• Identify and ensure fulfillment of internal and external training needs for the team
• Provide career pathing and coaching opportunities for team members
• Schedule, create agenda and attend team meetings and recurring one-on-ones with direct reports
• Attend meetings as Disbursements representative and effectively communicate departments needs
• Coordinate with other teams as needed to ensure deliverables are met

• Provide final review of SOPs and process mapping
• Prepare reports for delivery to management, Client Service and Operations teams as needed
• Review/Approve all time entries and PTO requests for direct reports
• Participate in the successful implementation of new projects as assigned
• Complete training and compliance tasks as assigned

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent experience)

Experience & Skills
• 5+ years in a finance related role
• 3+ years of experience supervising a team
• Experience working with Qualified Settlement Funds, Trusts, and/or Escrow Accounts
• Financial, accounting or banking experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently, and interdependently, and as an effective team leader
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability
• Strong communication, written, oral, and listening
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
