  • Review new features, architectures, and vendor integrations for IP and product risk
  • Support AI feature reviews, including participation in AI impact assessment processes
  • Help identify recurring risks and propose scalable solutions (AI agents and automations, playbooks, templates)

2) Open Source & Technology Licensing

  • Review and advise on open source software usage and licensing
  • Support OSS compliance processes and internal tooling
  • Assist with drafting and updating OSS and IP-related policies

3) IP Portfolio (Patents, Trademarks, Copyright)

  • Assist with trademark clearance, filings, and portfolio management
  • Contribute to IP enforcement strategy (e.g., reviewing infringement issues, demand letters)

4) Commercial & Vendor Support

  • Partner with commercial legal team to support negotiation of IP, AI, and product-related terms
  • Review vendor agreements and technology partnerships for IP and AI issues
  • Act as a subject matter resource on IP and AI clauses in customer and vendor contracts

  • Support IP diligence for acquisitions and strategic partnerships
  • Assist with integration of acquired IP and technology into company systems and portfolio

6) Policies, Training, and Scaling Legal Support

  • Help draft and maintain IP, AI, and product-related policies
