Job description

Employment Type: Full-Time Employment
Work Set-Up: Onsite onboarding for 2–4 weeks, followed by a transition to a work-from-home setup.
Work Schedule: Night Shift (Following U.S Time Zone)
Salary Package: Up to 60,000 PHP/Monthly

About the Client:

The client helps property owners and businesses maximize tax savings and improve cash flow by conducting engineering-based cost segregation studies. These studies accelerate depreciation deductions on commercial and residential investment properties, which can significantly reduce federal tax liability.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail oriented R&D Tax Credit Support Specialist to assist our US based study delivery team with the data entry, organization, and documentation tasks that support R&D tax credit studies. This is an offshore support role based in Manila. The position focuses on accurately entering and organizing client data, maintaining documentation files, and preparing supporting materials under the direction of the US based team. All technical analysis, credentialed review, sign off, and client facing advisory remain with the US based team.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and reliable, with strong written and spoken English. Familiarity with the US R&D tax credit is helpful but not required, as training will be provided on the specific support tasks. The candidate should be comfortable following established processes, managing routine tasks against deadlines, and asking clarifying questions when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Entry and Document Support

  • Enter and organize client provided financial, payroll, project, and contractor records into the team's templates and tracking tools.
  • Gather and compile supporting documents and data requested by the US based team.
  • Maintain accurate, well organized documentation and files for each study.
  • Apply client templates, naming conventions, and documentation standards consistently across all files.

Documentation Support

  • Input data into workpapers and calculation templates prepared by the US based team.
  • Assist with assembling project narratives and supporting materials using information provided by the team and client.
  • Prepare and compile supporting workpapers and documentation for US side review.
  • Help maintain documentation files that are organized, consistent, and complete.
  • Flag missing, unclear, or inconsistent information to the US based team for resolution.

Coordination and Task Management

  • Coordinate routine data requests and follow ups with client stakeholders to collect missing or unclear information, as directed by the US based team.
  • Track tasks across multiple studies to meet client and internal deadlines, communicating status and any delays in a timely manner.
  • Review your own entries and documentation for accuracy before submission, and incorporate US team feedback.
  • Provide regular status updates to the US based team on assigned tasks and open items.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong written and spoken English, with no significant language barrier.
  • Familiarity with the US R&D tax credit is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working within structured templates and workpapers.
  • Ability to follow established processes and instructions reliably.
  • Comfortable working remotely with regular direction from a US based team.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required # of years of Work Experience

  • 5+ of experience in data entry, administrative support, bookkeeping, accounting support, or a related field

Educational Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
