We are seeking a Video Ad Operations Specialist with hands-on experience managing and optimizing video advertising across web and Connected TV (CTV) environments.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of video ad technologies, including video ad servers, VAST tags, OpenRTB (oRTB), third-party ad tags, and technical troubleshooting. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who is comfortable collaborating with publishers, platforms, and demand partners to ensure seamless ad delivery, campaign performance, and operational excellence.

  • 1+ years of experience in ad operations, preferably with video advertising.
  • Experience with video ad servers or video monetization platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with VAST tags and oRTB for video ad troubleshooting.
  • Experience with web video and/or CTV/OTT environments.
  • Understanding of video ad delivery, redirects, macros, tracking, and common ad-serving issues.
  • Ability to investigate delivery problems and communicate findings clearly.
  • Good Excel or Google Sheets skills, including filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic reporting.
  • Mid-level English is sufficient for emails, partner communication, and technical documentation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in parallel.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with platforms such as Google Ad Manager, SpringServe, FreeWheel, Equativ, Xandr, Magnite, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of programmatic advertising, SSPs, DSPs, header bidding, and Prebid.
  • Familiarity with CTV concepts such as SSAI, app/device environments, content IDs, device IDs, and ad podding.
  • Experience troubleshooting VAST errors, player logs, or server-side ad insertion issues.
  • Experience with display advertising campaign setup, trafficking, troubleshooting, or reporting.


Your day-to-day in this position

  • Set up, manage, and troubleshoot video ad campaigns across web and CTV environments.
  • Work with VAST tags, oRTB, video redirects, macros, tracking pixels, and third-party ad tags.
  • Test and validate video ad tags to ensure proper delivery, tracking, and playback.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as no-fill, VAST errors, broken tags, tracking discrepancies, latency, player errors, and delivery gaps.
  • Support integrations and connections between publishers, ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, and demand partners.
  • Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, fill rate, impressions, revenue, and discrepancies.
  • Use browser developer tools, network logs, ad tag testers, and platform reports to investigate issues.
  • Prepare reports and basic analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Communicate with internal teams, publishers, and external partners to resolve operational and technical issues.
