About Our Family

We're a laid-back family of five (plus a dog and cat) who keep life lively and full. Both parents work from home, and one of us is stepping into a new role that's going to demand more hours and focus. That means we need someone who can help keep our household running smoothly so we can be more present when we're with our kids.

We're not a buttoned-up, everything-in-its-place kind of family. Organization is important to us, so as a busy family, we value when someone can create systems that actually work for how we live. We're warm, flexible, and appreciate someone who can meet us where we are without judgment. What matters most to us is finding someone who's proactive, kind, and comfortable rolling with our rhythm. We want our evenings to feel calmer and more connected, and that starts with having the right support during the day.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're the kind of person who walks into a space and just knows what needs to happen. You're organized, self-directed, and confident in your ability to create order without being asked. You see a problem and you solve it and feel satisfaction in staying one step ahead.

We appreciate professionalism, but want someone who feels comfortable in our home, understands our dynamic, and can work independently while still staying connected to what we need. If you're the kind of person who thrives on making things better while working independently, you'll be a natural fit. It is important to us that you communicate thoughtfully and are warm and engaging, especially with children.

While direct childcare is not a large part of what we need, we need someone who can build rapport with our kids. We value someone who can get to know all of us, so our needs can be preempted and systems can be implemented. Primarily, we are looking for support with healthy meal/snack prep, laundry, and errands, but we are hoping to find someone who can be flexible and grow with our family as our needs evolve.
