We’re hiring a Microsoft Cloud & Endpoint Engineer to support and improve our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment. This is a 100% remote position reporting to the Director of IT. In this role, you’ll help maintain secure, scalable cloud, identity, and endpoint services that support a distributed workforce.
Eligibility: U.S.-based candidates only. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Work across Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, identity and access management, security operations, backup and recovery, and escalated support.
Cloud Infrastructure and Azure
- Deploy, configure, and support Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, networking, and identity integration
- Monitor performance, availability, and security across Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and restore processes
- Contribute to infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and tenant configuration
- Manage licensing, integrations, and security and compliance features such as Defender, DLP, and retention policies
Endpoint Management
- Manage endpoint configuration, compliance, patching, enrollment, and lifecycle using Microsoft Intune
- Apply device security baselines, MDM/MAM policies, and mobile and endpoint management standards
Security and Identity
- Manage Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, identity governance, and Zero Trust security controls
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and partner with internal stakeholders to maintain security standards
Operations and Support
- Troubleshoot escalated cloud, endpoint, and identity issues and maintain clear technical documentation
- Collaborate with IT, security, DevOps, and application teams to improve reliability and operational maturity
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud engineering, endpoint management, systems administration, or a related role
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
- Experience with endpoint management, identity security, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO
- Knowledge of cloud networking, backup and recovery, and security best practices
- PowerShell or scripting experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, or regulated environments such as HIPAA or SOC 2
- Exposure to DevOps, infrastructure as code, or automation practices
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI services, Copilot Studio, or similar enterprise AI tools in administration, enablement, or support roles
- Experience using AI-assisted workflows, scripting, or automation to improve IT operations, service delivery, documentation, or user support
- Familiarity with responsible AI use, enterprise security considerations, and governance practices
