Power Platform Developer at Sourcefit

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer with a strong understanding of Microsoft's Power Platform ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining business applications, automating processes, integrating systems, and delivering solutions that solve real business challenges.

Working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end users, you will translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.

Work set up: Work from home

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM | UK Time

Holiday: Will follow UK holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Build and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.

• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Configure and manage Dataverse environments.

• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.

• Translate requirements into technical designs and functional solutions.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and third-party applications.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues.

• Maintain technical documentation and solution designs.

• Participate in testing, deployment, and release management activities.

• Ensure solutions adhere to governance, security, and best practice standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Provide support and training to end users where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

• Strong experience with:

• Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)

• Power Automate

• Power BI

• Microsoft Dataverse

• Experience creating custom connectors and integrations.

• Knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

• Experience working with APIs and data integrations.

• Strong understanding of data modelling and relational databases.

• Experience gathering and translating business requirements.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services.

• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.

• Experience with Dynamics 365.

• Knowledge of SQL Server.

• Experience with JavaScript, C#, or .NET development.

• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working within an MSP environment.

• Knowledge of AI Builder and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
