Job Description

Our client operates in the insurance industry, delivering complex digital solutions that support business-critical processes across multiple markets. Together with Accesa, the focus is on improving operational efficiency, enabling scalable solutions, and supporting business growth through modern technologies and agile practices.

Responsibilities: 

Bridge Business & IT → Act as the key link between business experts and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, structured requirements and pseudocode for implementation.

Shape Product Vision → Define and articulate product objectives, scope, and constraints, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term strategy.

Drive Agile Delivery → Contribute to backlog prioritization, write user stories and acceptance criteria in tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, and support developers throughout the implementation phase.

Own Process Design → Analyze, model, and optimize business processes, recommending improvements and ensuring efficient, scalable solutions.

Ensure Product Quality → Design and execute regression testing strategies, validate releases, and proactively identify risks and impacts of changes on the product.

Enable Stakeholder Collaboration → Facilitate communication across stakeholders, manage expectations, and deliver clear updates through presentations and documentation in tools like Confluence.

Promote Continuous Improvement → Encourage best practices, support experimentation, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Mentor & Scale Knowledge → Coach and guide other Business Analysts, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability growth at organizational level.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of business context and ability to translate it into technical requirements
  • Experience in the Insurance industry
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or similar
  • Knowledge of databases and hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL
  • Good understanding of SDLC and process modelling techniques
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in German and English

Nice to have:

  • Experience with pseudocode writing
  • Basic technical knowledge (HTTP methods, Postman, sequence diagrams)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Economics, or related field
