Job SummaryThe Application Specialist – MI PET/CT Imaging is responsible for providing on-site application education for Positron Emission Tomography  (PET) and Computed Tomography  (CT). This includes product demonstrations, system updates, and upgrades for standard systems and applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate authenticity and integrity, essential for building meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers.

Compensation decisions are based upon the candidate level of skill, qualifications, geographical location and experience, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted pay range. Additionally, the position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation (such as cash bonus(es).  


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site application education for MI PET/CT systems, including product demonstrations, updates, and system upgrades.
  • Offer customer consultation and support for workflow improvements, including clinical education, system parameter adjustments, and implementation of new methods and workflows.
  • Deliver professional application support, resolving customer complaints efficiently both on-site and remotely.
  • Support the sales team by conducting product demonstrations, preparing clinical case studies, presenting images to clinicians/physicians, learning about new products, and coaching new team members.
  • Assist in developing and delivering application training courses, either on-site at customer locations or at United Imaging Headquarters and Training Center in Houston.
  • Collaborate with R&D and CRM teams by communicating customer needs and providing troubleshooting expertise and insights.
Requirements

 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Imaging (MI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) , or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a  Molecular Imaging technologist in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • 3+ years of experience as an application specialist in a specific modality field
  • Experience in research or case studies in related areas is a plus
  • Computed Tomography (CT)  experience and certification preferred
