Job description

Operations & People Associate

Remote (Canada) · July/August 2026 start date

About Superbolt

Superbolt is an award-winning, direct-to-consumer agency headquartered in New York City, specializing in unlocking long-term growth for brands that matter. We're a multidisciplinary team of growth experts, data strategists, and creatives—all under one roof.

We move fast and care deeply about doing things well. We're looking for someone who loves making a busy team's life easier. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

We're looking for an Operations & People Associate to keep our team running smoothly across a broad range of operational, administrative, and people functions. You'll be a central point of support that frees the team to focus on client work.

This is a remote role with a threefold scope: execution and administrative support, people operations, and ad hoc team support and collaboration. Across all three, we need someone who genuinely enjoys getting things done well, sweats the details, and brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to everything they touch.

What You'll Do

Execution & Administrative Support

  • Create presentations and decks for team meetings
  • Prepare and process invoices
  • Manage scheduling and calendar coordination
  • Help draft monthly memos for the steering committee
  • Handle external email communication with outside partners
  • Manage expense reimbursements
  • Assist with administrative processes more broadly

People Operations & Support

  • Help maintain Superbolt's performance management system
  • Support team member onboarding and offboarding
  • Help process raises and promotions
  • Keep the company org chart up to date
  • Own team time tracking and NPS
  • Assist with HR processes more broadly

Ad Hoc Team Support & Collaboration

Our team is busy with client work, so we need someone who's happy to jump in, answer questions, and get to the bottom of things on the team's behalf.

  • Be available and responsive for ad hoc discussions with the team
  • Proactively resolve issues so the team can stay focused on client work
  • Approach problems with a positive, can-do attitude and a focus on finding solutions

What We're Looking For

The two strengths at the heart of this role are flawless execution across a wide variety of tasks and strong interpersonal skills that make the team's lives easier.

  • Exceptional attention to detail — you take pride in executing tasks flawlessly
  • A genuine enjoyment of execution — you find satisfaction in getting things done well, no matter the task
  • Strong interpersonal skills — you're approachable, responsive, and bring a positive presence to every interaction
  • A service mindset — you're motivated by making others' work easier and finding solutions on their behalf
  • Adaptability — you're comfortable working across a wide and shifting range of topics
  • Self-direction in a remote setting — you stay engaged and available while working independently

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in an operations, people/HR, or executive support role
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack
  • Experience working with Claude or other AI tools is a plus
  • Experience in the digital marketing industry is a plus

Details

  • Type: Contractor of Record (Canada)
  • Start date: July/August 2026
  • Location: Remote
  • Hours: aligned on ET time zone
  • Time off: Flexible time off, plus team holiday closures
  • Compensation: CAD $5,500/monthly
