As a Community Ambassador for management games, you help build and maintain an engaged player community by supporting community engagement, moderation, and communication efforts across relevant platforms. Responsibilities include encouraging discussions, sharing game updates, supporting events and community initiatives, gathering player feedback, and identifying trends and opportunities within the community.
Working closely with the Community Manager, you contribute to executing the community strategy and help ensure a positive, welcoming player experience. This is a flexible, part-time freelance role, with hours varying based on community activity and game needs. Generally up to a maximum of 20 hours.
Build and grow an engaged player community by fostering meaningful interactions and maintaining an active presence across social media, forums, Discord, Reddit, Steam, and other community platforms.
Manage community communications and social channels, including moderation, content creation, and brand representation, while ensuring a welcoming and approachable community environment.
Drive player engagement initiatives through discussions, events, campaigns, game updates, community content, betas, and other activities that encourage participation.
Monitor community sentiment, trends, and feedback, identifying opportunities and concerns while sharing useful insights with the relevant internal teams.
Measure and report on community performance, providing analysis and recommendations to support community growth and engagement goals.
Proficiency in English with strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Experience moderating or contributing to online gaming communities.
Ability to create clear and engaging copy for community updates,social media posts and announcements.
Experience managing social media accounts, including planning and creating content.
Interest in management, simulation, tycoon, or strategy games.
Familiarity with Paradox Interactive or similar publishers.
Familiarity with Discord, Reddit, Twitter/X, Facebook, and Steam.
Experience creating community content (guides, memes, videos) and using tools like Photoshop or video editing software.
Scope: Hourly-paid (up to 20 hrs a week), part-time freelance/contracting role
Reports to: Head of Business - Management Games, in collaboration with Community Manager.
Location: Remote work
Salary: The starting salary for this position is approximately 20 EUR per hour. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the requirements of the role.
