Why this role exists

Our brand recently underwent a refresh that’s currently in progress. We’re in the middle of building the visual world for Bizy—our agentic AI product—and introducing a mascot as its primary face. As we tell new stories to fresh audiences, we’ve brought on a Senior Art Director to lead our creative direction.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a sharp, skilled Visual Designer who is eager to produce meaningful creative work rather than churning out templated assets. You’ll collaborate closely with our Art Director and a small, opinionated marketing team in a role that offers significant room for growth on a team that truly values craft.

What the brand needs to do

Our brand has three primary objectives:

  • Feel vibrant — energetic, colorful, and alive. We want a manager to look at our work and feel that it will truly energize their team.
  • Feel real — honest, grounded, and deeply connected to the product. We aim for HR leaders to feel we've articulated exactly how they experience their work.
  • Feel progressive — modern and confident. Our goal is for people to recognize that this is a significant step up from what exists today.

What you'll work on

You'll contribute to a diverse range of creative projects. You can expect to:

  • Produce creative for campaigns, landing pages, social media, events, and sales presentations
  • Develop and maintain components within our brand design system to ensure consistency and usability
  • Contribute to the visual identity of Bizy, defining the mascot's personality and expressions across various contexts
  • Partner with our marketing team to translate positioning and narratives into impactful visual stories
  • Collaborate with product designers to maintain a coherent brand experience across all surfaces
  • Empower other team members to create on-brand materials for social, email, and events
  • Stay ahead of design trends and AI tools, sharing insights on how the creative field is evolving

AI in this role

AI is central to how we build and how we work. Our creative team leverages generative tools daily as we explore their potential to enhance our craft and define what "good" looks like in this new landscape.

We’re looking for a designer who is already experimenting—someone with a clear point of view on what these tools can and can’t do, and the taste to distinguish between the two. You’ll bring your own unique approach, learn from a team deeply immersed in this space, and help define how we leverage AI in our creative workflow.

 You’re a great fit if you…

  • have 2–5 years of visual design experience
  • can show us a portfolio showcasing both range and craft—not just executional output, but considered visual thinking
  • are deeply fluent in Figma and comfortable in the Adobe suite (Illustrator and Photoshop at a minimum)
  • have experience with motion graphics
  • care about brand systems and consistency, having worked within them and understanding why they matter
  • have some exposure to or interest in character design, illustration systems, or mascot work
  • work fast without sacrificing quality—you know the difference between speed and shortcuts
  • are genuinely curious about AI-assisted creative tools and have started exploring how they change your workflow
  • communicate clearly about creative decisions without being precious about them
  • have worked somewhere scrappy—a startup or small team where you had to figure things out
  • are hungry to grow and want a senior creative to learn from

A few things to know

Will I have a manager who knows design?

Yes. Your direct manager is the Senior Art Director, Brand. They report to our SVP of Product, Design & Marketing, who has a strong design background.

Is this a production role?

It’s both. You’ll produce at a high level while being expected to think critically about the work. We want you to bring ideas to the table, not just files.

Is this role fully remote?

Yes. We operate as a remote-first, highly collaborative team. You can expect occasional travel for intentional team gatherings and offsites.

How much creative input will I have?

Quite a bit. Unlike many IC roles, you’ll be joining while our brand is still in motion. With Bizy’s visual world still taking shape and our brand refresh rolling out, there’s a massive opportunity to influence our creative direction, not just execute on it.

Why Bonusly

We’re building at the intersection of culture, performance, and AI, and our brand is the primary vehicle for that story. This is a place where you’ll grow alongside a senior creative mentor, sharpen your craft, and contribute to work that meaningfully impacts people’s daily lives.

Bonusly is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
