Job description

Patient Journey Manager – HIV

In your role as a Patient Journey Manager (HIV), you will oversee collaboration and engagement with key accounts, institutions, and stakeholders in the field of infectious diseases to drive innovative business solutions that enhance patient access to medicines.

This includes identifying barriers that hinder effective product utilization within specific institutions, and developing and implementing strategic plans to overcome these challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Discover & Partner

  • Build strategic, collaborative external relationships with targeted institutional stakeholders; engage and partner to develop patient-focused solutions that optimize the patient journey within hospitals and/or Patient Support Programs (PSP)/Healthcare System Solutions (HSS).
  • Investigate, map, and understand current patient models of care across assigned institutions, including:
    • Site-specific or regional treatment pathways
    • Policies, protocols, and workflows for HIV medicines
    • Key influencers and decision makers
    • Systems/software integration relevant to PSP implementation
  • Identify clinical, economic, and operational gaps and barriers, and lead the development and execution of innovative solutions to improve patient access and outcomes.

Implement

  • Accelerate success by optimizing the patient journey through solutions that address patient pain points, align with brand priorities, and consider health system barriers.
  • Demonstrate leadership by gathering and sharing timely insights from the external healthcare community to inform cross-functional activities.
  • Support institutional decision-making that enables integration of new treatments and optimal placement within care pathways, in line with the approved label.

Optimize

  • Evaluate the PSP/HSS customer experience for each assigned institution and communicate performance on a quarterly and ad hoc basis.
  • Identify regional trends and share insights with the Commercial team.
  • Support institutions during transitional periods.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover care gaps, local barriers, and customer needs to support strategic objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence and innovation to optimize care pathways, continuously improving processes as PSP/HSS evolves.
