The purpose of this job is to grow, optimize, and manage a distributor network for industrial lubricants by ensuring distributor performance, contract compliance, supply chain efficiency, and alignment with company and customer goals.
What you’ll be doing.
Develop and manage a distributor network by collaborating with internal teams and converting existing distributors into more efficient operations.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key distributor and customer stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Identify and resolve operational inefficiencies through data-driven analysis, on-site visits, and implementation of corrective action plans (CAPs).
Drive sales performance and support distributor product knowledge by creating targeted action plans, coordinating trainings, and generating customer-focused proposals.
Ensure compliance and communication across the distribution network by reporting activities in Salesforce, communicating pricing/product updates, and supporting audits and quality initiatives.
Travel. Be able to travel frequently, 50%+
What you’ll need to be a successful Distribution Regional Manager
5+ years working with lubricant distributors – industrial lubricant knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of distributor operations; how distributors make money. Knowledge of the essential functions for each distributor; understand deeply how distributors operate.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills – including excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels, from distributors to C-level executives.
Deep knowledge of distribution operations and lubricants industry – with the ability to apply this expertise in sales strategy, supply chain management, and customer solution development.
Analytical, organized, and self-driven mindset – combining critical thinking, time management, and emotional intelligence to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive continuous improvement.
