Job description

*****High earners in this REMOTE position have the potential to make $175,000-250,000+ per year in base and incentive earnings combined. This person will focus mainly on spec home and residential development loans.*****

We’re looking for a VP – Commercial Loan Officer to join our award-winning commercial lending team and diversify our commercial real estate concentration with spec house and residential development lending. You will establish relationships with businesses in Amplify’s service area for the purpose of making commercial loans while consistently offering outstanding member service.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develops and manages relationships with existing and prospective business members to drive new business, retain existing relationships, and grow commercial loan and deposit portfolios, with a focus on spec home and residential development lending. 
  • Maintains and manages a portfolio of business relationships to achieve production goals, deliver an exceptional member experience, and identify cross-sell opportunities while ensuring portfolio quality and soundness. 
  • Leads and participates in business development efforts through member engagement, community involvement, and industry partnerships, including collaboration with third-party vendors to support business services. 
  • Evaluates, structures, and processes commercial loan requests by interviewing applicants, analyzing financials, credit and collateral, and coordinating with credit analysts to assess risk and feasibility. 
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with internal policies and applicable NCUA and Texas regulations, utilizing risk analysis and credit review processes to monitor loan quality. 
  • Provides financial guidance and advisory support to business members and prospective clients based on a strong understanding of market conditions, economic trends, and industry performance. 
  • Manages post-closing responsibilities, including site visits, collateral inspections, and ongoing monitoring, and supports collection efforts in partnership with Account Resolutions as needed.
