Job Description:

Schedule: Full-time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (with weekend rotation)

Location: AdventHealth Consumer Experience Center, 600 Courtland St, Orlando, FL 32804

  • Provides courteous responses and excellent customer service when fielding inquiries from consumers, clinic staff, physicians, colleagues, and leaders. 
  • Actively works with staff and supervisors to achieve established performance metric standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of services and AdventHealth offerings to properly direct inquiries when outside of service’s scope.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer-care skills and provides virtual clinical care within the nursing scope of practice.
  • Utilizes critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to provide triage to symptomatic consumers in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Elicits questions, concerns, and information from callers to assess symptoms, determine acuity, identify appropriate algorithm/protocol, and develop patient care plans and follow-up.
  • Provides professional advice, education, and options based on assessment, established algorithm/protocol, and clinical judgment; escalates interactions to emergency response services when appropriate.
  • Provides referrals to healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate; assists with follow-up or appointment scheduling when needed.
  • Utilizes proper escalations when issues arise. Adheres to all established workflows, scripting, and department greetings.
  • Documents all interactions and consistently updates consumer records in the relevant technology system(s). 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Technological aptitude to master additional programs and technologies, including CRM, telephony, electronic health records, and other potential systems [Required]
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish [Preferred]


Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Work Experience:

  • 2+ Clinical nursing experience [Required]
  • 1+ virtual care monitoring or care experience [Preferred]
  • Labor and Delivery experience [Preferred]

  • Electronic Fetal Monitor experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required]

$31.53 - $52.24
