The Key Account Manager, Thailand is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and strengthening long-term partnerships with assigned key accounts across Thailand collectively with Channel Partners in Thailand. This role plays a critical part in developing strategic account plans, expanding Beckman Coulter Diagnostics’ footprint and ensuring successful execution of commercial strategies aligned with country and regional objectives.

This position reports to the Country Business Manager, Thailand and is part of the Commercial department – Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Thailand located in Bangkok, Thailand and will be a field-based role working within the assigned territory in Thailand.   

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned key accounts to drive sustainable growth, achieving goals including sales and margin and long-term business objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within hospitals, laboratories and healthcare networks. And perform co-visit with Thailand Channel Partner and Beckman Coulter Diagnostics associates at selected key accounts mainly for new product implementation and automation accounts and prioritize commercial activities in those accounts in an active sales cycle (existing and competitive) to position Beckman Coulter Diagnostics products for customer’s needs.
  • Drive demand generation, opportunity identification and pipeline development within key accounts, including support for tenders and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure effective commercial execution, solution implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, funnel/pipeline management and CRM/Salesforce updates and reporting in alignment with country and regional processes.  

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Science related subject.
  • Experiences: At least 3 years’ experience in sales or key account management within the IVD markets in Thailand especially Immunology and Clinical Chemistry is required. Moreover, managing key accounts, tenders or long-term contract with public and/or private healthcare institutions. And experience working within structured sales processes, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Required skill: Well versed with market dynamics in Thailand with established track record of initializing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies. Good strategic thinkers without losing sight on details and process. Ability to engage and influence team members across functional peers, customers and dealers. Possess strong language proficiency in English

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within Thailand (Bangkok & Upcountry)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Worked in similar position to manage Channel Partners in IVD industry, laboratory automation or clinical laboratory solutions.
  • Possess an automation experience on workflow analysis and LEAN concepts
  • Working in both demonstrates top-tier communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer handling skills and provide guidance or coaching within the team, customers and across functional groups.
