Job description

SNAP14 is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Affairs Officer to oversee legal, compliance, corporate structuring, government affairs, and investor relations. This key role combines strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring SNAP14's operations are fully compliant, strategically structured, and positioned for sustainable growth.

The Business Affairs Officer acts as the primary liaison between SNAP14 and external legal, regulatory, and investment entities, manages internal risk frameworks, and supports business expansion strategies. This person will also provide insight and guidance on strategic partnerships, corporate planning initiatives, and investor-related activities, ensuring that SNAP14 maintains both its innovative edge and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal & Compliance Oversight:

Oversee internal and external legal matters, ensuring full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

Coordinate effectively with external legal advisors and counsel as needed.

Develop and manage SNAP14's compliance policies, ensuring continuous adherence and proactive risk mitigation.


Corporate Structuring & Governance:

Advise and execute corporate structuring strategies aligned with company growth and international expansion.

Ensure effective governance practices are established and maintained.

Manage corporate documentation, filings, and regulatory requirements for domestic and international operations.


Risk Management:

Identify, analyze, and address operational, strategic, and legal risks.

Develop and implement risk management strategies and frameworks to safeguard company assets and operations.

Regularly update senior management on risk exposure and recommended mitigation plans.


Government & External Relations:

Serve as the main liaison between SNAP14 and government entities, managing licensing, permitting, and regulatory relationships.

Maintain positive and effective communication channels with regulatory bodies.

Anticipate and navigate changes in government policies and regulations, advising leadership accordingly.


Business Expansion & Strategic Partnerships:

Support strategic initiatives including new market entry, business expansion, and partnerships.

Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential business opportunities and strategic alliances.

Assist in negotiation and structuring of strategic partnerships and alliances.


Investor Relations & Company Valuation:

Maintain awareness and basic understanding of company investments and investor management.

Support interactions and communications with investors.

Provide input on company valuation and investor reporting activities.
