Job description

If you're energized by developing people, passionate about designing learning experiences, and believe AI should be embedded in what you do, Viva is the place where you, as a Trainer, will make the greatest impact.

At Viva, we connect fast‑growing startups in the U.S. and Canada with world‑class Executive Assistants (EAs) from Latin America. Our mission: expand career opportunities for women while hiring regardless of gender. The impact is intentional: when women thrive, families and communities do too. As a Learning Partner, you’ll train and coach our talent to succeed with the customers we partner with.

We post this role under different titles such as Corporate Trainer & Training Specialist since we want to find you, whatever your background looks like.

This is a full-time remote role based anywhere in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, or Ecuador.

What you'll do:

  • Train & Coach: Guide Executive Assistants so they’re ready to be staffed with our customers through live sessions, simulations, role-plays, and 1:1 coaching.

  • Instructional Design: Build and update learning resources including curricula, rubrics, playbooks, and other materials so they're clear, practical, and true to how Viva works.

  • Stakeholder & Operational Coordination: Partner closely with internal teams to ensure EAs are ready to be matched with customers, successfully staffed, and performing at a high level by managing a high volume of cross-functional communication with good judgment and follow-through.

  • AI & Automation: Use AI daily to work smarter, coach EAs on practical AI adoption from basics to advanced use to offer the most AI-savvy EAs to our customers, and implement automations that streamline workflows and scale learning.

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years in training, instructional design, L&D, coaching, or similar roles

  • C2 English, written, spoken, and engaging

  • Hands-on experience with AI/automation tools, (ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, LMS platforms, or similar) a fast learner, resourceful, and eager to stay up to date.

  • Experience using data to surface insights and drive improvement

  • Proactive, structured, and high-ownership by default not by request

What Sets You Apart

  • People Developer: You know how to coach, motivate, and give feedback that sticks.

  • Strong Communicator: Clear, confident, and great at guiding people through ambiguity.

  • Driver Mindset: You take initiative and find ways to improve systems.

  • Scrappy: You’re resourceful, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.

  • Culture Fit: You believe in Viva’s mission and want to build something meaningful

💜 How We Take Care of You!

  • Growth & well‑being culture: Professional development programs, wellness initiatives, and empowerment practices built into daily work.

  • Remote setup: 100% remote roles, permanently.

  • Fixed schedules: Standard working hours, no overtime, weekends off.

  • Pay progression: Competitive compensation with reviews every 6 months and performance‑based bonuses.

  • Global health coverage: Medical, dental, vision, mental health, and routine care included!

  • Time‑off policies: Paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and family care days.
