Draftsperson (AO-13981)

This is a remote position.

• Prepare comprehensive residential and commercial architectural documentation for Australian projects.
  
• Produce Planning Permit/Council Approval drawing packages and Construction Drawing Packages suitable for building permits and construction.
  
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and construction details in accordance with project requirements and Australian standards.
  
• Ensure documentation is accurate, coordinated, and compliant with relevant building regulations and codes.
  
• Create, maintain, and update detailed BIM models using Revit.
  
• Translate design concepts into high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation.
  
• Incorporate design revisions and consultant feedback into project models and documentation.
  
• Maintain documentation consistency and quality throughout all project stages.
  
• Coordinate documentation with structural engineers, town planners, building surveyors, energy assessors, and other consultants.
  
• Model existing site conditions from survey information, sketches, and site measurements where required.
  
• Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renders using Twinmotion, Enscape, Lumion, or similar software.
  
• Support project teams in resolving design and documentation issues.
  

Requirements

• Previous employment with an Australian building design, architectural, or drafting firm.
  
• Minimum 3 years' experience producing residential and commercial architectural documentation for Australian projects.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, including BIM modelling and documentation.
  
• Demonstrated ability to independently prepare Planning Permit/Council Approval drawing packages and Construction Drawing Packages.
  
• Strong understanding of Australian building standards, documentation practices, and construction methodologies.
  
• Proficiency in Twinmotion, Enscape, Lumion, or similar 3D visualisation/rendering software.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
