This is a remote position.

Senior Google Media Buyer

Reports to: Director of Performance Marketing


ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Google Media Buyer to own and scale paid acquisition across the Google ecosystem, including Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, Display, and Shopping campaigns.

Reporting directly to the Director of Performance Marketing, you will be a key hands-on executor within the performance team - responsible for campaign strategy, account structure, optimisation, testing, reporting, and scaling performance across Google Ads.

This is not a coordination role.

We are looking for someone who lives inside Google Ads. Someone who can diagnose underperformance at a granular level, uncover growth opportunities through data, build testing frameworks, and drive measurable improvements to CPA, ROAS, lead quality, and revenue.

If your idea of Google Ads management is adjusting bids and pulling weekly reports, this role is not for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own campaign execution across Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen, Display, and Shopping.

  • Manage and optimise substantial Google Ads budgets with a focus on efficiency, profitability, and growth.

  • Develop and execute structured testing roadmaps across keywords, audiences, bidding strategies, ad copy, landing pages, and campaign structures.

  • Analyse campaign performance to identify trends, diagnose issues, and uncover scaling opportunities.

  • Improve CPA, ROAS, conversion rates, lead quality, and customer acquisition efficiency.

  • Build and maintain clear reporting dashboards using Google Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools.

  • Work closely with the Director of Performance Marketing on budget allocation, forecasting, and growth strategy.

  • Partner with Creative, CRO, and Data teams to improve ad performance and landing page conversion rates.

  • Stay ahead of Google Ads platform updates, automation developments, and emerging best practices.



AI, AUTOMATION & GROWTH SYSTEMS

We believe the future of paid acquisition will be increasingly driven by AI, automation, and intelligent decision-making systems.

As a Senior Google Media Buyer, you will be expected to actively leverage Google's AI-powered solutions, including Smart Bidding, Performance Max, audience signals, predictive audiences, and AI-assisted reporting workflows.

You will work alongside our performance team and in-house developer to identify opportunities where automation can improve efficiency, accelerate testing, and enhance campaign performance.

Prior experience building AI agents is not required, but you must be curious, adaptable, and genuinely excited about how AI is transforming Google Ads and performance marketing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-6 years of hands-on Google Ads experience.

  • Proven experience managing significant Google Ads budgets.

  • Deep expertise across Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Shopping, Display, and Demand Gen campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, attribution, enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve ROAS and reduce CPA through structured testing and optimisation.

  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Google Ads reporting, Looker Studio, spreadsheets, and performance analysis.

  • Strong understanding of keyword strategy, search intent, audience segmentation, and account architecture.

  • Attention to detail with a bias toward ownership, initiative, and fast iteration.

  • Clear communicator who can translate complex performance data into actionable business insights.
