Mission:
The eBay Growth Advisor is responsible for driving growth, retention, and account health for Hollander’s eBay Program sellers. As a subject matter expert on eBay Parts & Accessories and Hollander’s eLINK listing platform, the role works directly with sellers to optimize marketplace performance, address operational barriers, and ensure accounts meet platform standards. The eBay Specialist collaborates with clients and cross functional teams including Sales, Product, Technical Support, Marketing, and the eBay Motors team to drive measurable transactional revenue growth and long-term seller success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of eBay sellers, focused on GMV growth, retention, listing quality, and overall marketplace performance.
- Monitor seller health metrics including ratings, service metrics, policy flags, and GMV trends, proactively engaging at-risk accounts to mitigate churn and drive improvement plans.
- Lead onboarding and training initiatives for new sellers to ensure successful ramp-up and sustained marketplace performance.
- Troubleshoot listing, compliance, and eLINK integration issues, collaborating with Product, Development, and Technical Support teams to resolve escalations efficiently.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by providing feedback, marketplace insights, and product recommendations to the eBay Sales Manager and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales to provide product expertise, collateral, and eLINK demos.
- Support email communication initiatives, including performance alerts, reactivation campaigns, and account health outreach
- Represent Hollander-Solera as an eBay subject matter expert at industry events, trade shows, panels, and educational sessions, reinforcing strategic relationships with eBay Motors and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 2-4 years of experience in account management, sales, ecommerce, or marketplace environments (eBay, Amazon, Shopify, etc).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present, train, and engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret seller performance data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Experience in the automotive services industry is highly preferred (recycling, collision repair, estimating, insurance).
- Hands-on experience with marketplace listing management, including inventory optimization, pricing strategy, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with troubleshooting customer issues in SaaS, ecommerce, or marketplace platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% as required for customer visits and industry events.
