About Us: Climate Collective Foundation (CCF)

Climate Collective Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting climate tech startups. We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of 50 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges.

About the Role

As the Specialist – Innovation Ecosystems - Content & Data for the Mosambi Platform, you will be instrumental in building, enriching, and maintaining the comprehensive datasets and content that underpin the platform's core functionalities and value-added services. You will lead a team of interns to develop standardized, high-quality, and intelligently structured content for various stakeholder profiles and platform features. You will work closely with internal teams, particularly Mosmabi team and CCF program leads, to ensure the content directly supports Mosambi’s goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content & Data Strategy & Development: 

·    Content Vision & Roadmapping: Define and drive the content strategy for key Mosambi platform directories and value-added services (VAS), including stakeholder profiles, knowledge management systems, and service marketplaces. 

·     Data Structure & Standardization: Design and implement robust frameworks for standardizing, tagging, and categorizing all content and data, ensuring consistency.  

·   Content Curation & Enhancement: Oversee the collection, verification, and enrichment of data, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and relevance.  

·        VAS Content Design: Work with internal CCF leaders to design and populate content for value-added services, ensuring they are designed for integration with existing programs. 

·        Knowledge Management System (KMS) Build-out: Lead the development and population of the KMS focusing on categorization, tagging. 

2. Team Leadership & Training: 

·        Intern Team Management: Train, and manage a team of interns dedicated to data building, data updates, content entry, and quality assurance for the Mosambi platform. 

·        Training & Mentorship: Develop comprehensive training modules for interns on data collection methodologies, content standardization guidelines, data verification processes, and the effective use of internal tools. 

·        Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all content and data entered into the platform. 

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration: 

·        Internal Program Alignment: Collaborate closely with CCF leaders managing various programs to gather their content needs and design directories and VAS that directly support their initiatives and provide value to their respective stakeholders. 

·        User Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from internal teams and future users to continuously refine and improve content relevance and usability. 

4. Data Management: 

·        Data Integrity & Freshness: Implement processes to ensure the ongoing accuracy, freshness, and relevance of platform data, potentially involving defined update. 

·        Platform Data & Metrics: Support the maintenance of up-to-date records of platform data, stakeholder interactions, and impact metrics related to content usage and effectiveness. 

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

·        Program Support: Provide support to other CCF programs and teams as needed. 



Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

·        Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Data Management, Information Science, Communications, or a related field.

·        Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

·        Strong understanding of innovation ecosystems, startups, social impact, sustainability, or development sectors is an advantage.

·        8-12 years of experience in content management, knowledge management, research, data operations, ecosystem mapping, or a related role.

·        Experience in creating, structuring, and maintaining large datasets and content repositories.

·        Experience leading or mentoring interns, researchers, or junior team members.

·        Exposure to startup ecosystems, incubators, accelerators, impact investing, philanthropy, or social sector organizations is preferred.

·        Experience working with CRM, database management platforms, Airtable, Notion, Excel/Google Sheets, or similar data management tools.

·        Demonstrated ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and validate information.

Skills Required

·        Strong data management and data quality assurance capabilities.

·        Content development, editing, and standardization skills.

·        Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

·        Familiarity with database management, Airtable, Notion, or similar knowledge management platforms.

·        Research, data validation, and information synthesis skills.

·        Ability to organize complex information into structured, user-friendly formats.
