About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Sound Designer to join our talented team and contribute to the immersive audio experience of our current project. As a Sound Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the sonic identity of the game, creating and refining high-quality sound effects, ambiences, and audio assets that elevate gameplay and storytelling.

You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and producers to ensure that audio enhances the overall player experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on the auditory feel of the game and to contribute to a unique and engaging interactive world.

 

The Quest:

  • Design and produce high-quality sound effects, jingles, and audio assets for characters, environments, UI, and gameplay.
  • Collaborate with the design and art teams to understand the creative vision and deliver audio content that supports and enhances it.
  • Edit, process, and mix audio recordings to meet production standards and maintain consistency across the game.
  • Provide creative input during prototyping and development phases to ensure audio is considered early in the design process.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation of audio systems and workflows.
  • Participate in feedback and iteration sessions to refine audio assets based on team input.
  • Stay informed on current audio trends, tools, and techniques in the gaming industry.
  • Prepare audio assets for implementation in game engines such as Unity.

 

The Skills:

  • 4–6 years of experience in the game or entertainment industry, with a focus on sound design and audio production.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard audio tools such as Reaper, Nuendo, Pro Tools, or Cubase.
  • Strong knowledge of audio recording, editing, mixing, and mastering techniques.
  • Familiarity with audio middleware (e.g., FMOD, Wwise) and general audio integration practices.
  • Good understanding of audio’s role in enhancing narrative, gameplay, and immersion.
  • Ability to record and edit high-quality audio assets using various microphones and recording equipment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Passion for sound, games, and interactive experiences.
  • Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus, but not required for implementation.
