Job description

Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote GIS Technical Lead supporting one of our Fortune 500 clients! We are looking for an GIS Technical Lead who possesses a wide breadth of experience in enterprise level environment with a focus on building out cutting-edge GIS Systems! The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for tackling the tough problems and ability to do so with minimal day-to-day guidance!

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with GIS development using modern ESRI suite technologies
  • 2+ years of experience working with a variety of AWS services
  • 2+ years of experience working with developing GIS with ArcGIS Utility Network and Geodatabase
  • Experience gathering requirements, managing expectations, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders

Desired:

  • FME Form, Flow, or Server experience
  • Degree in GIS

Responsibilities:

  • Help dictate direction from design through implementation of new applications and features
  • Support several solutions via designing, developing, and delivering high-quality scalable solutions
  • Ensure all industry compliance standards are met
  • Manage technical risks throughout development and implementation processes by owning tech oversight
  • Track and report on project timelines and ensure they are staying within product scope and budget
