We provide founders with financial roadmaps to make smart financial decisions. Using best-in-class software and processes, we deliver peace of mind.

As our Philippines based HR Generalist, you will support the senior team with client HR engagements as well as internal B Consulting HR matters. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working with US-based teams and clients, and flexible enough to jump into new projects when needed.

This is a full-time remote role based in the Philippines. The role will require alignment with US business hours (primarily Pacific time).

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including offer paperwork, background checks, I-9 support, systems access, and administrative enrollments.
  • Assist with employment terminations, including termination documentation, COBRA coordination, and final payment support.
  • Support the implementation of PEO, payroll, and benefits systems for clients.
  • Serve as a resource for administrative, payroll, onboarding, and benefits-related questions.
  • Prepare reports and data for government agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Support Workers’ Compensation and EPLI policy administration and renewals.
  • Draft, update, and maintain employee handbooks, including PTO, sick leave, and other employment policies.
  • Update and maintain organizational charts.
  • Prepare internal team meeting agendas and related materials.
  • Review employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation for clients.
  • Conduct verification of employment requests.
  • Assist with HR correspondence, documentation, and administrative requests.
  • Support the management of US and international payrolls, including regular payroll processing, one-off payments, payroll invoice review, and coordination with payroll providers.
  • Assist with payroll tax registration processes with US state tax agencies, as needed.
  • Support special projects as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience supporting US companies, startups, or outsourced HR/client service environments.
  • Experience with US payroll, HR administration, onboarding, employee documentation, and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Familiarity with PEO models, benefits administration, and multi-state HR support is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and related tools.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is preferred but not required.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable working independently with a remote team. The right person will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident supporting both client-facing and internal HR work.

This is a full-time remote position for candidates based in the Philippines.
