The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our remote team. This is a role for someone who takes real pride in their work. Someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving complex tax matters, and being a reliable, trusted presence for clients and colleagues alike.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with Australian accounting standards
• Applying your technical know-how to resolve complex compliance and tax matters
• Keeping on top of Australian tax law and accounting standards as they evolve
• Spotting opportunities to improve how we work and deliver for clients
• Collaborating with a talented, close-knit team to get great outcomes

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
• Solid understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
• Hands-on experience with Xero and BGL 360
• SMSF experience is a bonus — but not a dealbreaker
• Sharp attention to detail and strong time management
• Clear, confident communication skills in English
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to work well within a team
