The company is making a major investment in building a commercialized software platform that will transform how clients optimize their operations. This person will own the engineering strategy and execution behind that platform while modernizing legacy systems and building the engineering culture and practices that support the company's next chapter.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a software engineering organization of approximately 15 people across engineering and data science functions while building team structure, accountability, and a high performance culture
• Defining and communicating a multi year architectural roadmap that balances legacy modernization with new platform development
• Accelerating the team into modern engineering practices including Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines that do not currently exist at scale
• Owning the architectural decisions that shape how the company moves legacy systems to the cloud while building a new commercialized data product
• Serving as an external face of the technology organization — presenting the platform vision to customers, partners, and the board alongside the CTO
• Overseeing cybersecurity strategy and governance through a dedicated security team
• Driving AI and ML integration into the product roadmap as the platform matures

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture/engineering, technology strategy, SDLC and solution design leadership roles
• Strong .NET background
• Experience driving enterprise-wide transformations including modernization, cloud migration, data strategy, and AI enablement
• Proven success designing, implementing and evolving integrated systems at scale
• Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems into production software
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices from scratch
