  • Perform detailed quote analysis, should-cost modeling, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.

  • Aggressively negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, inventory programs, tooling, lead-times, and commercial agreements.

  • Drive annual cost reduction initiatives and productivity savings across assigned commodities.

  • Analyze market trends, raw material impacts, and supply chain risks to proactively develop mitigation strategies.

Technical & EMS Operational Support

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for custom fabrication technologies and related manufacturing processes.

  • Partner with Engineering and suppliers on DFM, manufacturability improvements, material selection, and technical problem solving.

  • Support prototype, NPI, and production ramp activities to ensure successful launches and continuity of supply.

  • Collaborate with Quality teams on supplier performance, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

  • Own supplier relationship management for assigned commodities, including delivery, quality, responsiveness, capacity, and cost performance.

  • Conduct supplier business reviews, site visits, and capability assessments.

  • Monitor supplier KPIs and drive accountability for continuous improvement.

  • Act as the primary escalation point for critical supplier issues and shortages.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
