We are seeking an experienced Home Health Chargemaster and Coding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform a comprehensive audit of Home Health and Hospice coding practices, chargemaster configuration, and reimbursement processes. The consultant will evaluate current coding and charge capture methodologies, identify revenue leakage opportunities, assess compliance risks, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize reimbursement while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Home Health and Hospice coding, chargemaster maintenance, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare revenue cycle operations.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Relevant healthcare, HIM, nursing, finance, or healthcare administration background preferred.

Experience

• 7+ years of Home Health and/or Hospice coding experience.
• 5+ years of chargemaster management or maintenance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Home Health and Hospice reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience conducting coding audits and revenue cycle assessments.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.
• Experience identifying reimbursement improvement opportunities.
• Experience working with Home Health and Hospice operational workflows.
