Job description

Job Title: Epic HIM Analyst
Location: US Remote
Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Epic HIM Analyst to support and optimize Epic Health Information Management (HIM) applications and workflows. The ideal candidate will possess active Epic Identity and Epic Release of Information (ROI) certifications and have strong experience supporting HIM operations, medical record management, patient identity management, document integrity, and release of information processes.

The analyst will work closely with HIM leadership, compliance teams, clinical operations, revenue cycle stakeholders, and technical teams to support system enhancements, workflow optimization, issue resolution, testing activities, and Epic best-practice implementations.

Candidates with additional Epic Hospital Coding and Epic Deficiencies certifications are highly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Equivalent healthcare IT experience considered.

Required Experience

3+ years of Epic HIM Analyst experience.

Experience supporting Release of Information workflows.
Experience gathering requirements, system design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
Experience troubleshooting Epic production issues.
Experience working with cross-functional healthcare teams.
