If you're a performance-driven lead generation specialist who knows how to turn Meta and LinkedIn into a steady stream of qualified solar leads — and you want to own a number that matters — this is your role.
Solar Power Direct is an established Australian solar and battery storage company based in Adelaide. They have a sales team ready to convert. What they need is someone who can feed it — 40 qualified leads per week, generated through targeted social campaigns, video reels, and smart outreach. You'll work alongside James, their current lead manager, and you'll have the full campaign brief from start to finish.
This is a lead generation seat, not a content creation seat. You'll create content because it drives leads — not the other way around. If you think in CPL, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition, read on.
Own a real lead generation number — 40 qualified leads per week — with full visibility on how your campaigns contribute to pipeline and revenue.
Work directly with the sales team. Your leads go straight to James and the team; you'll see what converts and what doesn't, and adjust accordingly.

Your primary job is leads. Everything else — content, reels, campaigns, review requests — is in service of that number.
Improve the quality and conversion of leads from various channels utilized
Manage Hubspot to ensure that there’s minimal lead spills
Plan, build, and run lead generation campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn from start to finish — targeting, creative, copy, budget allocation, reporting.
When possible, create short-form video reels and social content designed to capture attention and drive enquiry
Hit a target of 40 qualified leads per week, tracked against the sales team's conversion benchmark.
Manage review request campaigns to lift Google and social review volume — reviews are a key trust signal in solar sales.
Assist James (SPD's lead manager) with outreach as needed — supporting the pipeline beyond inbound.
Report on campaign performance weekly: spend, CPL, lead volume, conversion rate against benchmark. No vanity metrics — only numbers that connect to sales.
Campaigns run on Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager — you own the accounts end-to-end.
Lead quality is measured against the sales team's conversion benchmark — you will know quickly whether your leads are converting.
Video reels are produced using AI editing tools and SPD-provided or self-sourced solar content — you brief, shoot (or source), edit, and publish.
Weekly reporting goes to Paul (MD) and James — you are the source of truth on lead generation performance.
Practical skills test: shortlisted candidates complete a 2–3 hour test using generic solar content. No surprises — you'll know what's expected upfront.
Have 3+ years running paid lead generation campaigns on Meta and/or LinkedIn with measurable results (CPL, volume, conversion rate).
Have worked with Hubspot and understand how to manage and organise the data
You enjoy the hunt and the challenge of converting leads
Can point to a campaign you built from scratch — targeting, creative, copy, and reporting — and tell us what it achieved.
Understand what makes a solar lead qualified versus junk, and how to brief creative that attracts the right enquiries.
Are comfortable producing or directing short-form video content designed to generate leads, not just views.
Work to numbers, not to activity. 'I posted 5 reels this week' is not a result — '37 leads at $18 CPL' is.
Can manage your own workload, hit weekly targets, and flag blockers before they become problems.
Bonus Points If You:
Have direct experience in solar, electrical, home services, or other high-consideration B2C categories where trust and reviews drive conversion.
Have run Google Ads or SEO campaigns alongside paid social — broader demand generation experience.
Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, AdCreative.ai, or similar) as genuine campaign accelerators — briefing, copy variants, A/B testing setup.
Have experience with CRM lead handoff — ensuring the leads you generate actually land in HubSpot (or similar) cleanly for the sales team.

After 90 days:
You're generating 40 qualified leads per week consistently, tracked against the sales team's conversion benchmark.
At least two active campaign funnels are running (Meta + LinkedIn), with weekly reporting Paul can read in under five minutes.
Video reel cadence is operating — reels are live, performing, and generating enquiry, not just views.
Review request campaigns have produced a measurable lift in Google and social reviews.
James describes you as someone who feeds the pipeline reliably — not someone he has to chase.
