Job description

The Job

As a Social Media & Content Intern within our Fanwear E-commerce division, you will support the growth of Fuel For Fans a leading webshop for official Formula 1 and motorsport merchandise. In this hands-on internship, you will be actively involved in the day-to-day execution of our social media and content activities.

Your main focus will be managing and publishing content across Fuel For Fans’ social media channels, while supporting the execution of campaigns and webshop activities to ensure launches run smoothly.

You will be part of the E-commerce Marketing team and occasionally contribute to campaigns for other global brands, including McLaren, Aston Martin F1, Manchester City, Premier League, and BMW Lifestyle.

This internship offers you the opportunity to learn, experiment, and develop your skills in a fast-paced international environment.

Your Mission

During this internship, you will: 

  • Manage Fuel For Fans’ social media channels (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook);
  • Plan, create, and publish content around campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments;
  • Proactively contribute ideas for new content formats and stay up to date with social media trends;
  • Engage with the online community and respond to relevant trends and conversations;
  • Support the tracking and analysis of performance (reach, engagement, growth, conversion);
  • Contribute to campaign execution and webshop activities, ensuring content is accurate and launches run smoothly;
  • Assist with updating webshop content such as banners, product pages, and copy.

Your Talent

  • HBO student in Marketing, Communication, Media, or a related field (2nd year or higher);
  • Looking for an internship starting in September (32-40 hours per week);
  • Minimum of 4 months, 6 months is preferred; 
  • Currently enrolled at a Dutch educational institution and looking for an internship as a mandatory part of your study program;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Strong interest in social media and content creation;
  • Affinity with Formula 1 and motorsport is a big plus;
  • Creative, eager to learn, and detail-oriented;
  • Proactive attitude and willing to take initiative; 
  • Able to work both independently and in a team;
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This internship is based in the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
To be considered for this internship, you must be legally authorized to work in the Netherlands without the need for a work permit.
