Location: (Remote U.S. – except AK, HI, NM, ND, SD, RI, VT)


Reporting the Vice President and General Manager, the Senior Director of Commercial Product Management will be a highly visible strategic leader within BioIVT guiding the growth and development of key product and service portfolios within the organization’s four business units. Working closely with commercial and operational stakeholders, the incumbent will lead market assessment, product and portfolio positioning, pricing, and integrated operational and commercial execution of strategic initiatives, maximizing top-line growth in both new and existing markets. This is a player-coach leadership role with oversight of up to three Commercial Product Managers and additional Product Operations support.

This position will ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, State Departments of Health, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EMEA and FDA Guidelines, general State and Country Regulations such as but not limited to (CLIA, CAP, USP, ISO 9001, USDA regulations, HTA license, DEA and State Controlled Substance programs) where site appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop deep expertise of products and services, market, customers, and competitive positioning across four business units: ADME-Tox, Disease State, Normal Human & Animal, and Immune Cells
  • Define and pursue strategic, high-impact growth initiatives across businesses, aligning commercial and operational stakeholders to new opportunities and common measures of success
  • Champion strategy internally to drive alignment and decisive execution across Product, Operations, and Commercial teams
  • Identify optimal product and service mix and channel strategies for revenue growth domestically and internationally
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and market shifts, making data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings and maintain leadership in the market
  • Engage directly with sales leaders, managers, and territory representatives in co-selling activities, and drive voice-of-customer insights into the organization
  • Identify, describe, and address customer needs, with a focus on driving integrated solutions selling and robust account partnerships
  • Develop strategic pricing and discounting policies to maximize customer lifetime value and overall business growth
  • Build and coach a high‑performing Commercial Product Management team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, commercial strategy, or business development, with at least 2+ years in a role managing teams
  • Proven track record of successfully launching products, managing cross-functional campaigns, and driving revenue growth through strategic pricing and positioning
  • Deep understanding of drug discovery and development market dynamics and sales cycles
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, including the ability to translate complex data, financial models, and customer insights into actionable commercial strategies
  • Exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across all levels of the organization

This position may require up to 40% travel over the course of the year, domestic and international

A full-time Monday through Friday workweek with general business hours and flexibility to occasionally work additional hours as needed and approved by management. While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. The employee has potential for exposure to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals, biohazards, flammable liquids, risk of radiation. The employee is occasionally required to use equipment with moving mechanical parts, with risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times, the noise level can be louder and hearing protection may be required. The employee may work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
