Job Description:β - Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift.
- Install, configure, integrate, and support Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software.
- Integrate CMC components within OpenShift-based infrastructure environments.
- Perform system administration activities including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and operational maintenance.
- Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, integration, and runtime issues across the technology stack.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and customer teams to ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to customer personnel regarding OpenShift administration, container platform operations, and best practices.
- Conduct independent technical assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Support project planning, technical reviews, and implementation activities for complex cloud-based solutions.
- Interface with customer representatives and organizational leadership regarding technical issues, project status, and recommendations.
Required Experience: Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Seven (7) or more years of directly applicable experience supporting complex technical systems, cloud platforms, or enterprise software environments. Demonstrated hands-on experience deploying, administering, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift environments. Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Strategy Customer Managed Cloud (CMC) software. Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and cloud-native platform operations. Experience administering Linux-based systems in enterprise environments. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure, platform, and application layers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment. Experience mentoring technical staff and providing knowledge transfer to operational teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience operating OpenShift and Strategy CMC together in a production environment.
- Experience supporting Department of Energy (DOE), Federal Government, or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, configuration management, and system hardening requirements.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Current or previous security clearance, including Q Clearance.
- Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical systems.
